  7. •  Power Macintosh
  8. •  System 7.1.2 or higher
  9. •  PPC 601 or higher
  10. •  12MB RAM; 5MB free
  11. •  Requires 30MB hard disk space 
  12. •  2X CD-ROM drive or faster; 4X recommended 
  13. •  Monitor: 13 inch or larger color, thousands of colors required
  14.  
  15. System Configuration: May require minor adjustments to the configuration of
  16. your operating system and/or updates to hardware component drivers.

  18. Information on running The Last Express Demo:
  19.  
  20. NOTE: QuickTime is required to run movies on this demo. To install QuickTime 
  21. from this disc:
  22. •  Locate the System Extensions folder on the Last Express Demo disc.
  23. •  Drag the files inside the System Extensions folder to the System folder icon located on your computer's hard disk.
  24. •  Restart your Macintosh.

  26. To launch the demo:  Double-click on The Last Express Demo icon.

  28. Technical Troubleshooting - If you experience poor performance:
  29.  
  30. - Thousands of colors mode is the required mode to play the QuickTime movies in this demo.  Resetting to thousands of color mode and 640x480 resolution will ensure optimal viewing of QuickTime movies. See your video card manual or Macintosh manual to learn how to change these video settings.

  32. - Screen savers may interfere with the playback of QuickTime movies.  It is recommended that you turn off your screen saver or change the activation time to 30 minutes.

  34. - It is recommended that you close all other applications before running the
  35. demo. QuickTime uses a lot of the system's resources to run optimally.  
  36.  
  37. - For best performance, we suggest you turn off Virtual Memory. Please consult
  38. your Macintosh User's Guide for instructions.
